Glastonbury Festival returns to Worthy Farm in the summer of 2027 after a two-year absence, with tickets going on sale this week. The festival last took place between June 25 and June 29, where festivalgoers enjoyed three days of music, with more than 3,000 acts performing across 100 stages and venues. Headliners included Olivia Rodrigo, Neil Young and The 1975.
The festival did not take place in 2026 because it was a fallow year. Glastonbury runs for four or five years in a row before taking a year off to allow the farmland on which it takes place to fully recover.
The festival is back from Wednesday, June 23 to Sunday, June 27, 2027. No headliners have yet been confirmed for 2027, although acts rumoured to be performing so far include Sam Fender, Harry Styles, Eminem, Taylor Swift and Beyonce.
When do Glastonbury Festival tickets go on sale?
Ticket and coach travel options will go on sale first, taking place at 6pm on Thursday, October 1. General admission tickets will then go on sale days later, from 9am on Sunday, October 4.
How much are Glastonbury Festival tickets?
This year general admission full weekend tickets will cost £408 each, including a £5 booking fee. A postage and packing fee of £11.25 applies per order up to six tickets. Anyone buying coach travel tickets will also need to buy the fare plus a £3 coach administration fee. The coach fare from Manchester for example is £122.
Up to six tickets can be booked per transaction, with a £100 deposit per person required on the day of sale. The remaining balance (£308) will then be payable in the first week of April 2027.
Where to buy Glastonbury Festival tickets?
Anyone who wants to book a ticket must be registered with SeeTickets. Registration for Glastonbury tickets closed on September 25, meaning if you did not register in advance, you will not be able to book tickets.
Tickets will only be available at glastonbury.seetickets.com and demand is expected to significantly outweigh the number of tickets being sold. Coach travel tickets will go on sale at 6pm on Thursday, October 1, and general admission 9am on Sunday, October 4.
Can you still buy tickets if you miss out?
Tickets will only be available via SeeTickets, and each will be personalised to the individual named ticket holder and are strictly non-transferable. Resale of tickets is strictly prohibited and will result in the cancellation of your order.
If you did miss out this time, you may still be able to secure a ticket in the new year during the official resale. Anyone who does not pay their full balance by April next year loses their ticket and it goes back into the pot. The resale of tickets that were not paid for in full takes place shortly after the balance window closes, usually also in April.
