Fred. Olsen has launched offers on selected 2026 winter sun fly cruises, which include flights from Manchester or London and give holidaymakers the chance to skip sea days and reach their destination sooner. The offer includes £150 onboard credit per cabin and, on some trips, half-price flights.
Canaries Escape and other short trips
The shortest and cheapest option is the Canaries Escape with the Fleet Fiesta cruise, priced from £1,329 per person for a 10-night journey from November 30, visiting the Canary Islands and Portugal. This trip includes a half-price flight and the £150 credit deal, plus celebrations when the Fred. Olsen fleet reunites in Las Palmas, with games, a treasure hunt, live music and performances.
Another budget-friendly choice is the Country-Hopping from Greece to Tenerife holiday, priced from £1,499 per person with half-price flights and the onboard credit. Sailing from Piraeus, Greece on November 19, it includes stops in Cartagena in Spain, the Rock of Gibraltar, Agadir in Morocco, Malta, Italy, and finishes in Tenerife.
Longer voyages in the offer
The longest cruise in the deal is the Mediterranean Icons voyage, a 31-night trip visiting 16 destinations, priced from £4,299 per person. It sails from Limassol, Cyprus on November 9 and spans Egypt, Turkey, Greece, Malta, Italy, Spain, Gibraltar, Morocco, the Canary Islands and Portugal.
The Wonders of the Mediterranean cruise is a shorter version of the Mediterranean Icons trip, lasting 21 nights and priced from £2,499 per person, finishing in Tenerife after sailing from Limassol on November 9. The Mediterranean & Canary Islands Warmth cruise is another 21-night trip, priced from £2,399 per person with a half-price flight, beginning in Piraeus on November 19 and finishing in Portugal, with stops in Malta, Italy, Spain, Gibraltar, Morocco and the Canary Islands.
Other cruise lines and Fred. Olsen reviews
P&O is offering up to £400 onboard credit for balcony cabins on selected holidays sailing between April 2027 and March 2028. Ambassador Cruise Line has special offers on selected Caribbean fly cruises this year, with the earliest departure on the Atlantic Horizons and Caribbean Discovery cruise, priced from £1,499 per person with flights from Manchester Airport and options for 50% off flight upgrades plus free coach transport.
Fred. Olsen also has more than 20 fly cruises scheduled for 2027. The shortest is the Scenic Greek Island Hopping trip from £1,349 per person, visiting Syros, Kos, Crete and Santorini. The longest is the Scenic Shores & Ancient Wonders of the Mediterranean from £3,899 per person, lasting 33 nights with stops including Albania, Slovenia, Croatia and Montenegro.
Fred. Olsen has a rating of 4.6 out of five stars on Trustpilot based on nearly 15,000 reviews. One recent review said: "The level of service from start to finish was incredible. Staff were friendly and took the trouble to get to know us, often anticipating our needs." Another praised the food and accommodation, while a third noted: "We were first time cruisers. Everything was absolutely fabulous."
Some customers felt the flight schedule could be improved. One wrote: "Sadly the Fred. Olsen pre arranged flight back to the UK was too late in the day. It should have been arranged for early afternoon, which would have allowed us to arrive in Manchester by 6pm rather than 10pm." Another suggested a morning flight for guests joining the ship at various locations.
