Cardigan Bay is just six miles away, offering sandy beaches, coastal walks, surfing and kayaking. History enthusiasts can visit the medieval ruins of Strata Florida Abbey, around 16.5 miles from the property.

The two-bedroom cottage has a cosy open-plan living area with rustic touches, alongside a modern kitchen equipped for self-catered stays. Upstairs are two double bedrooms and a family bathroom. French doors lead onto an enclosed garden where dogs can roam safely, and a large lawn provides space for children and pets.

One visitor described the property as: “A wonderful oasis of peace and tranquility, whilst having easy access to both coast and mountains. The owner is a lovely, friendly host, available if we needed anything, but otherwise unobtrusive.”

A third guest praised the peaceful setting and cleanliness, but noted: “Off the beaten track peaceful refurbished granary. Very clean with decent furniture. Bath is under the eaves in the upper space which wouldn’t suit someone with mobility problems. Steep stairs to bedroom space.”
