BA cabin crew share one simple tip for stress-free travel

A British Airways cabin crew member has advised passengers to screenshot all important travel documents before boarding to reduce stress. The tip was shared on the official British Airways TikTok account after the staff member was asked for her top travel advice.

She said: "Just screenshot everything. Screenshot your boarding pass. Have a copy of the hotel that you're going to." She recommended having a photographic copy on your phone in case you land without a 4G signal, so you still have a picture of the details.

Why screenshots help

It is common for travellers to struggle getting a signal in a new country because their phone has been in aeroplane mode for hours and is trying to connect to a new local network. The metal cabin of the plane can also block cellular radio waves.

More crew advice

Three other crew members also offered tips. One suggested packing a portable tote bag, saying: "You're always going to need it, and it's something to put stuff in, and then you're not lugging a big suitcase around when you're travelling."

A third said: "My top travel tip is to bring electrolytes on board. Having electrolytes in your water makes you rehydrated." A fourth added: "My travel top tip would be to have your phones and devices set to automatic before you depart, so that they're already synced to the local time before you arrive."

Passenger reactions

Viewers commented on the video with their own experiences. One person praised BA for good customer service after missing a flight from Paris to London, saying a staff member offered a seat on the next flight free of charge. Another asked for flights from London Southend to resume, while a third said they always have a great experience with the airline.
