The severe twister struck with little warning, tearing through residential neighbourhoods and leaving emergency services scrambling to respond to the widespread damage. Local authorities have confirmed that several people have lost their lives in the disaster, though the exact number of casualties remains unconfirmed as search and rescue operations continue.
Community in Crisis
Eyewitnesses described scenes of chaos as the tornado touched down, with homes ripped from their foundations and debris scattered across multiple streets. The severe weather system has left countless residents displaced and emergency shelters have been established to accommodate those who cannot return to their damaged properties.
