When Will the 2026-27 Premier League Live TV Fixtures Be Announced?
Everton, Liverpool, and the other 18 Premier League clubs have received their schedules for the 2026-27 season. However, many matches will be rescheduled for live television coverage.
The new campaign begins on Friday, August 21, with defending champions Arsenal hosting Championship winners Coventry City at 8pm. This match will be broadcast live on Sky Sports, one of seven fixtures selected for live TV over the opening weekend.
Other opening weekend live games include: Saturday, August 22 - Hull City vs Manchester United (12.30pm, TNT Sports), Brentford vs Tottenham Hotspur (5.30pm, Sky Sports); Sunday, August 23 - Brighton & Hove Albion vs Aston Villa (2pm, Sky Sports), Manchester City vs Bournemouth (2pm, Sky Sports), Newcastle United vs Liverpool (4.30pm, Sky Sports); Monday, August 24 - Fulham vs Chelsea (8pm, Sky Sports).
No further TV games have been announced yet. Below are the approximate dates for future live TV selection announcements:
- August/September (matchweeks 2-6): July 9
- October (matchweeks 7-9): August 20
- November (matchweeks 10-13): September 17
- December/January (matchweeks 14-24): October 15
- February (matchweeks 25-28): December 17
- March (matchweeks 29-31): January 21
- April (matchweeks 32-34): March 4
- Matchweek 35: March 25
- Matchweek 36: April 1
- Matchweek 37: Post-FA Cup semi-finals (April 25-26)
- Matchweek 38: Post matchweek 37
Fixtures may also be adjusted to accommodate domestic and European cup competitions.
