Manchester-bound flight forced to land in Russia despite advice

A plane bound for Manchester with more than 230 passengers on board made an emergency landing in Russia early today. The Airbus A330-300 from Beijing got into trouble over Siberia due to a “mechanical fault”, according to reports.
