An air ambulance was called to Kirkby on Thursday, August 20, after a man in his 60s was found unresponsive at a business premises on an industrial estate. Emergency services, including Merseyside Police, were dispatched to the scene off Arbour Lane just before 2.30pm.
Air ambulance lands near AXA training centre
The air ambulance landed on the playing field near the AXA training centre after the man was found unresponsive on the nearby Kirkby industrial park. Paramedics treated the man at the premises before he was taken to hospital via air ambulance for further treatment.
Police confirm no suspicious circumstances
A Merseyside Police spokesman said: "We can confirm that emergency services were at a premises in Kirkby this afternoon, Thursday, August 20. Just before 2.30pm this afternoon we received a report that a man in his 60s had been found unresponsive at a business premises on Arbour Court." The spokesman added: "There are no suspicious circumstances."
