Liverpool have announced the signing of Djylian N'Guessan from Saint-Etienne. The youngster's move was secured this morning, despite the transfer window slamming shut on September 1.
Young prospect with senior experience
At the age of 18 years old, N'Guessan is considered to be a bright prospect in French football, having already racked up 13 senior appearances for the Ligue 1 side. He will officially move to the Reds in January.
Loan move and transfer details
However, he is going to spend the rest of the 2026-27 campaign on loan at Stade Brestois. It's understood Liverpool will pay a guaranteed fee of around £4.3m while also including a sell-on clause.
