Braden Eric Peters, known online as Clavicular, faces a misdemeanour charge of unlawfully discharging a firearm in a public place or residential property after a live stream showed him shooting an apparently dead alligator in the Florida Everglades. The charge stems from a 26 March live stream, according to legal files obtained by South Florida television station ABC6.
The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission responded to the video on X, stating it was “aware of a video depicting individuals in the Everglades on an airboat who appear to be discharging firearms at an alligator” and that officers were “looking into the incident”. The commission did not name Peters.
An attorney for Peters told People magazine: “Our client has been summoned to appear for a misdemeanor charge that stems from following the instructions of a licensed airboat guide. He relied on that guidance. No animals or people were harmed. We are confident that once the full picture is understood, people will see this for what it is.” Two other individuals, Andrew Morales and Yabdiel Anibal Cotto Torres, have also been charged in connection with the incident. Morales is known on social media as “The Cuban Tarzan”.
Peters is a prominent figure in the “looksmaxxing” community, which advocates extreme measures to maximise physical attractiveness. He has been involved in several controversies, including livestreaming himself apparently running over a pedestrian and being filmed chanting antisemitic lyrics in a nightclub with influencer Andrew Tate. In March, Peters was arrested in Florida on battery charges after allegedly instigating a fight involving his girlfriend and another woman.
