A grandmother of 17, Cheryl McGregor, 61, is engaged to Quran McCain, 24, despite a 37-year age difference. The couple met when Quran was 15 and working at a fast-food restaurant in Georgia, where Cheryl's son Chris was his manager. They lost contact but reconnected in November 2020 when Cheryl was working as a cashier.
Their relationship began after they started making TikTok videos together, which led to romantic feelings. Quran now has over 800,000 followers on the app. The couple also runs an OnlyFans account for adult content.
Quran said: 'Even though it is an age gap we never think of it because Cheryl has a very young spirit, soul and heart.' Cheryl added: 'It's different, it's amazing, he's very compassionate to me.'
The couple faces online abuse, with trolls calling Cheryl names like 'zombie' and 'the walking dead'. Quran said: 'Some of the things they said would really bother Cheryl but now she has me, I'll go to war for her, that's my queen.'
Despite the criticism, they are happily engaged and proud of their relationship.
