Dunelm's £25 1L Dehumidifier is being hailed by shoppers as a 'powerhouse' that can make window condensation 'non-existent' in days, though some warn it struggles in larger or occupied rooms.
Compact device wins praise for tackling damp
The compact unit, standing around 28cm tall, is designed for rooms up to 20 square metres. Dunelm's product description reads: "This digital powerhouse is designed for efficiency, ideal for rooms up to 20 square meters. Say goodbye to excess moisture with ease, thanks to its 1-litre capacity. Plus, it includes removable filters for hassle-free maintenance. Experience the comfort of a drier, healthier living space with Dunelm's Dehumidifier - the solution you've been waiting for."
Shoppers have vouched for the device's ability to remove damp 'in days'. One wrote: "Great little Dehumidifier. Great for a small room, this one is great for the conservatory, keeps it nice and damp-free."
Buyers report dramatic improvement
Another customer said: "I love this little dehumidifier. I bought one for our bathroom about a year ago, and it's doing a brilliant job for such a small dehumidifier. Easy to maintain, easy to empty and it's quiet. I love it so much I ordered another three - one for each of our bedrooms to help reduce window condensation throughout the cold months."
A third reviewer added: "This little dehumidifier packs a punch. I've put it in my small bathroom, which usually has condensation on the window every morning. Since using this, the condensation has been minimal to non-existent."
Some find it lacking in bigger rooms
Despite nearly 230 five-star reviews, some users reported issues. One claimed: "Bought for my reasonably small bedroom, left it on for 24 hours and it collected less than a cup of water. Got a big dehumidifier and it collected the same in less than an hour."
Another said: "So weak makes zero difference to room humidity if you spend time in the room breathing. You are far better off putting the money towards a bigger, more powerful dehumidifier."
