Forza Horizon 6 Update Fixes Four Major Flaws, Fans Celebrate
Forza Horizon 6 Update Fixes Four Major Flaws

A new update for Forza Horizon 6 has addressed some of the game's most persistent issues, much to the delight of the player community. Released on Monday, June 15, the patch targets four key problem areas: AI behaviour, road discovery, drag tire physics, and the leveling system in Horizon Play. Players have expressed relief and praise across social media platforms.

Key Fixes in the Update

The update is available on Xbox Series X/S, PC, and Steam. Playground Games has improved difficulty balancing and fixed an issue with Drivatar race start behaviour. The Region Overview now includes a percentage marker for 'Roads Driven', and two previously undiscoverable road nodes have been corrected. Inconsistencies between the Mini Map and World Map have also been resolved.

Horizon Play Leveling Adjustments

A major change involves the XP required between Levels 26 and 100 in Horizon Play, significantly reducing the time needed to reach the top level. Players who have already progressed to Level 25 or above will see their level jump substantially, unlocking new Badges. Those who have reached Level 32 will automatically be elevated to Level 100, also unlocking the 'Maxed Out' Achievement.

Drag Tire Physics Overhaul

Drag tires have been adjusted to align with their intended behaviour. Previously, they reduced Performance Index (PI) while providing excessive lateral grip, making them optimal for events outside drag racing. The update ensures drag tires are no longer the best choice for non-drag events, while retaining their PI cost so existing tunes remain unchanged but with reduced cornering performance.

Community Reaction

Fans on Reddit have welcomed the changes. One user commented, 'So happy with the drag tire fix. It was ruining the online experience. Ending up in a 12 player race with 9 Honda Beats was unbearable.' Another added, 'The drag tire change feels like such a "Ladies and Gentlemen, we got 'em" moment.'

Hotfix and Free Car

A separate hotfix addresses a glitch that players exploited to boost their credit balance. As a gesture of goodwill, players will receive a gifted 2021 McLaren Sabre once the hotfix goes live.
