Crimson Desert continues to build on its shaky start, as developer Pearl Abyss adds even more content to the game. The massive open-world game launched back in March to mixed reviews, but has carved out a mighty reputation thanks to regular big content updates and improvements.
New Features Make Crimson Desert Feel Like Skyrim
Months after its debut on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, Crimson Desert is back with another major update. This time, new features make the game feel even more like iconic open-world RPG Skyrim. The update gives players lots of items to decorate the inside and outside of their homes, along with new crafting stations.
New Crafting Tools and Items
The new crafting tools include a Workstation and a Loom, found in places like Greymane Camp, Timberham Sawmill, and Hernand Tailor's Shop. New items for the house include four tools, ten Sotdaes, seven fountains, six wells, multiple wells, pet furniture, a music box, hanging planters, and more.
Improvements and Quality of Life Changes
There are multiple improvements, including controller updates, graphics upgrades, and more. One massive quality of life upgrade involves boss battles: settings changed during a previous attempt are now maintained when retrying. This includes knowledge obtained through observation, selected elements, and assigned items.
