Anthropic's AI chatbot Claude has experienced a significant outage, leaving users unable to receive responses. The company acknowledged an “elevated rate of errors” affecting Sonnet 4.6, the model powering Claude and other Anthropic services.
During the outage, the system appeared to be processing queries but failed to generate any output, effectively freezing mid-response. This followed similar issues on Tuesday, which Anthropic said had been resolved with services returning to normal.
The latest disruption has frustrated users relying on Claude for various tasks. Anthropic has not yet provided an update on when full service will be restored.
