Season 4 Arrives with Naval Warfare Focus

Battlefield 6 Season 4 kicks off on July 23, 2026, bringing a heavy emphasis on naval combat. The update introduces two new water-based vehicles, the largest map in the game, and the return of a classic map later in the season. According to EA, the season is set to be a major content drop for the shooter.

New Maps and Modes

Two new maps will be added: Tsuru Reef at launch, and Wake Island on August 18. New modes include the limited-time Carrier Strike (August 18), and a Jets-Only Gauntlet mission called Fighter Sweep (also August 18).

New Vehicles and Gear

Four new vehicles join the roster: the RHIB (Rigid Hull Inflatable Boat), CB90 patrol boat, F/A-81F Super Spectre two-seater jet, and F-74A Seacat two-seater jet. New weapons include the EF88 assault rifle, Bren 3 carbine, VSSM DMR (all July 21), and the Desert Tech HTI sniper rifle (August 18).

Top Gun Crossover and REDSEC POI

A new REDSEC POI adds a fully explorable aircraft carrier at Fort Lyndon, featuring a Top Gun-themed section. This provides a fresh location for looting and combat encounters.

Quality of Life Updates

Season 4 introduces custom lobbies, spectator mode, and proximity chat via BF Labs Live.

Release Dates

Season 4 begins July 21, 2026, with the second wave of content, including the Top Gun crossover, arriving on August 18, 2026.
