AI-Powered Platform Shop Home Styles Finds Dunelm and Wilko Homeware in One Place
AI Platform Shop Home Styles Finds Dunelm and Wilko Homeware

Homeware enthusiasts can now turn their Pinterest-inspired interiors into reality with less effort, thanks to an AI-powered discovery platform called Shop Home Styles. The tool, backed by Fuel Ventures, allows users to upload an image—whether from Instagram, Pinterest, or their camera roll—and within seconds finds visually similar products available for purchase across more than 100 UK and US homeware brands, including popular retailers like Dunelm and Wilko.

How It Works

Instead of scrolling through endless tabs and relying on keyword searches, shoppers simply upload a photo. The platform analyzes the image based on shape, material, color, texture, and overall aesthetic to recommend matching products. This process cuts down hours of aimless searching and helps users find items that fit their desired look, often at a fraction of the price.

For example, a user looking for a beige curved sofa can upload a reference image and receive results from multiple retailers, including options from Dunelm, Wilko, Anthropologie, and lesser-known brands like Mint Outdoor and Atkin and Thyme. The platform also offers style-led browsing for those lacking inspiration, allowing searches by aesthetic categories such as minimalist, modern, bohemian, or bold.

User Experience

Journalist Lucy Addicott tested the platform and found the upload process quick and easy, though she noted that adding a few keywords initially helped refine the search. Once adjusted, she was able to browse similar items from a wide range of retailers, discovering options she wouldn't have considered otherwise.

Other AI furniture finders exist, such as UFurnish.com, which lets users search by category, room, and image, and SpacelyAI, which offers both free and subscription-based plans for discovering shoppable furniture. However, Shop Home Styles distinguishes itself by aggregating results from over 100 brands in one interface.

Founder's Vision

Founder Giedre Gabrenaite explained: "Consumers don't struggle because there aren't enough furniture options online. They struggle because finding the right one is still far too difficult. We built ShopHomeStyles to close the gap between inspiration and purchase, helping people discover the products they actually want, not just the products that happen to rank highest in search results."

Shoppers can try the platform for free at the Shop Home Styles website.
