World Cup Kicks Off with Massive Car Displays and Synthesizer Performances
The 2026 FIFA World Cup has begun with spectacular fan zones featuring huge cars and live synthesizer music. According to organizers, over 1 million international visitors are expected across 16 host cities, with dedicated areas for cultural exhibitions and interactive experiences.
Fan Zones: A Hub for Entertainment
In each host city, official fan zones offer giant screens, food stalls, and stages for live performances. Notably, a 50-metre-long synthesizer installation in Berlin allows fans to create music. The zones are designed to accommodate up to 100,000 people daily, with enhanced security measures.
Eco-Friendly Initiatives
FIFA has pledged to make this the greenest World Cup, with all fan zones using renewable energy. Recycling stations and water refill points are available throughout. In Tokyo, a solar-powered car display showcases electric vehicles from local manufacturers.
Cultural Highlights Across Host Cities
Beyond cars and synthesizers, each city offers unique cultural events. In Rio de Janeiro, samba schools perform nightly, while in Moscow, a virtual reality experience recreates historic World Cup moments. Ticket sales have exceeded 3 million, with matches sold out in several venues.
According to FIFA spokesperson, “This World Cup is not just about football; it’s a celebration of global culture and innovation.” The tournament runs until July 19, with the final set to be held at the Maracanã Stadium in Rio.
