Newcastle United midfielder Joelinton has paid a visit to the North East's most famous Halloween event, Psycho Path, and has already promised to return for more scares.
With over a week to go until Newcastle's next Premier League game, Joelinton headed to the attraction at Lintz Hall Farm to put his bravery to the test. Psycho Path shared a photo of the Brazilian star on location on Wednesday night, revealing that he was “genuinely surprised” at the sheer size of the event and told the team he “couldn’t wait to come back again with his family.”
A Bigger and More Terrifying Psycho Path
Since it first launched in Burnopfield in 2018, Psycho Path has become the region's most talked-about Halloween experience, with the team increasing the scares every year. This year, the event is bigger than ever, with popular attractions like iScream, Isolation, Crawl Space and Psycho City returning, the latter for the final time. New additions include the sinister Psychotorium and Vandalized, which involves being bundled into a pitch black van, alongside a new VR attraction.
Psycho Path officially opened to the public last weekend after VIP guests got a first look the previous month. Joelinton's visit comes as he looks set to return from injury for Newcastle's match against Coventry a week on Monday.
Praise from the Creator
Christiano Crawford, creator and director of Psycho Path, commented: “It’s a genuine honour to host players of this calibre. To really enter into the spirit of Psycho Path is not something a lot of high profile athlete would do, but he loved it and was a real gentleman.”
Crawford added: “He brought his family with him who were also brilliant sports and got involved with everything and said they had also had a brilliant night. We’re extremely excited for this season and we can’t thank him enough for taking the time out to come and experience Psycho Path.”
Other Newcastle players to have taken on Psycho Path in the past include Kieran Trippier and Dan Burn, with footballers from rivals Sunderland also having experienced it.
