Dunfermline to honour kit man Mo Hutton after 33 years of service

Dunfermline Athletic will pay tribute to legendary kit man Mo Hutton this weekend, with Aberdeen visiting East End Park for his testimonial on October 3. The match, which kicks off at 2pm, marks the end of a season-long recognition of Hutton's 33 years of service to the club.

A career spanning decades

Hutton formally retired from his kit duties last season, following the Scottish Cup Final clash with Celtic at Hampden. He first joined the club as a volunteer youth coach in 1993 under Bert Paton and Dick Campbell, before becoming the kit man in 1999.

During his time with the Pars, Hutton served under 17 managers and witnessed five promotions. He was also part of six cup finals – three in the Scottish Cup, one League Cup, and a Challenge Cup showpiece.

Testimonial tributes

The Dunfermline organising committee said: "His testimonial season is our way of saying thank you to Mo – not just for his professionalism and dedication, but for his humour, warmth, and the countless unseen moments that make DAFC what it is."

Tickets for the match are priced at £10 for adults and £5 for kids.
