All Elite Wrestling (AEW) has announced it will return to the United Kingdom for AEW Dynasty on Sunday, February 7, 2027, at the M&S Bank Arena in Liverpool. The announcement, made on August 31, also confirms AEW Dynamite will take place on Wednesday, February 10, 2027, at the O2 in London.
Historic First for Liverpool
These events will be historic for AEW, marking the first time an AEW event has ever been held in Liverpool, the first AEW UK pay-per-view event to take place outside of London, and the first time AEW Dynamite has ever been held in London.
The announcement comes less than 24 hours after AEW All In: London at Wembley Stadium, which the American wrestling promoter described as one of its biggest events in its history.
Ospreay's Championship Victory
During that event on August 30, William Ospreay became the first English wrestler to win the AEW World Championship in Britain. Speaking about the win on Instagram, Ospreay said: "I never imagined when I started doing this that I would even be considered to be the guy that brings a World Championship home to his home country."
Fans reacted to the win in the comments section. @colm_rick1 said: "He's not just a British wrestler, he's the greatest British wrestler of all time." Rhath84 said: "What an absolutely amazing show from start to finish, so glad could experience it with my kids."
Arena's Wrestling Legacy
All Elite Wrestling was founded by CEO, GM and head of creative Tony Khan in 2019, presenting more than 100 live events a year around the world.
This is not the first time wrestling has taken over the M&S Bank Arena. Thousands of WWE fans attended the WWE: European Summer Tour at the arena on May 28, with wrestlers Cody Rhodes, Gunther and more making an appearance.
