Arsenal await Alvarez decision
Arsenal's hopes of signing Julian Alvarez will be decided once and for all today, according to recent reports. It has been widely suggested that Atletico Madrid want an answer from the striker by the close of play, with the forward deciding whether to stay or return to the Premier League.
Habeeb Ogunneye and Andria Bartishvili are poised to follow James Scanlon and Igor Tyjon in becoming Arsenal players, while Gabriel Martinelli should complete his move to Al-Hilal.
Liverpool finalise Barcola, Gakpo to City
Liverpool are finalising a move for Bradley Barcola following a medical but are in talks with Manchester City for the sale of Cody Gakpo, a major blow to Tottenham. The Reds also have Ismaila Sarr on their shortlist.
According to David Ornstein, Gakpo has elected to join Manchester City from Liverpool, closing in on a switch to the Etihad Stadium. Fabrizio Romano reports that the Dutchman will cost £85million and an agreement is in place for a five-year contract. However, the move depends on Liverpool bringing in a replacement.
Liverpool will sell Gakpo only if they can replace him before Tuesday's deadline. The Reds look poised to move the Dutchman on to Manchester City, but he will only be sanctioned to depart once one of the Merseyside club's top targets has been acquired. Those targets are Yankuba Minteh of Brighton, who have already seen an offer rejected, and Ismaila Sarr, with the Reds making an approach to Crystal Palace for the winger.
Chelsea, Man United and Spurs latest
Chelsea are braced to receive an offer for Enzo Fernandez and are stepping up efforts to sign a replacement amid progress in talks with Monaco for Lamine Camara. Monaco continue negotiations over a move for Tottenham midfielder Pape Matar Sarr, who has also been offered to Juventus. The Ligue 1 side still want to retain Camara despite Chelsea holding talks over a possible move.
Man United are expected to confirm a double deal as they continue to target a left-back. Tottenham still hold an interest in Neco Williams but could lose up to five players including Richarlison. Roberto De Zerbi has revealed that Kevin Danso, Richarlison and Pape Matar Sarr have asked to leave Tottenham ahead of the close of the transfer window. All three players were left out of Spurs' matchday squad as they fell to a 2-0 defeat at home to Newcastle on Saturday evening.

West Ham are set to sign Edvin Austbo. Standard Sport understands that the Hammers have had an £18million bid accepted by Viking for the winger, who is set to undergo a medical in east London. The forward, 21, will join the Irons, who are still searching for their first league win since their Premier League relegation, following a 1-1 draw at Watford on Saturday.
Nottingham Forest have made a bid for Dean Henderson, Fabrizio Romano reports. Oliver Glasner wants a reunion with his former Crystal Palace goalkeeper, with Henderson having previously played on loan at the City Ground from Manchester United.
AC Milan have agreed a surprise deal for Omari Hutchinson, striking an agreement on personal terms with the Nottingham Forest forward ahead of a potential loan deal with an option to buy. Newcastle United have identified Stuttgart midfielder Bilal El Khannouss as a transfer target, Sky Germany reports. The Magpies have already contacted the 22-year-old's camp, although talks with Stuttgart have yet to begin. Stuttgart want more than €50million to sell El Khannouss, who is also attracting interest from Everton.
