Tottenham have agreed a deal worth around £60m with Everton for Iliman Ndiaye, as Roberto De Zerbi looks to finalise his squad before Tuesday's transfer deadline. The north London club have already spent over £300m since the end of last season, bringing in Sandro Tonali, Mateus Fernandes and Savio, yet have started the campaign with two defeats in two matches.
Ndiaye set to arrive
Ndiaye is expected to join Tottenham ahead of the deadline after the £60m agreement was reached with Everton over the weekend. According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, the player has also negotiated personal terms, with a medical poised to take place imminently.
Richarlison heading to Everton
Richarlison is expected to move in the opposite direction in a separate deal worth around £35m. Sky Sports report that the two clubs are in advanced talks over the Brazilian striker, who has asked to leave Tottenham. Everton are also pursuing Lille forward Folarin Balogun, and it remains unclear whether they will be forced to choose between the two or sign both.
Sarr, Moore and Souza set for exits
Juventus are closing in on Pape Matar Sarr, who told De Zerbi he wanted to leave after the opening-weekend defeat to Newcastle. According to Romano, the midfielder is expected to join the Italian club on loan with a £25.6m buy clause that becomes mandatory under certain conditions.
Young winger Mikey Moore has agreed a straight loan move to Bundesliga side Koln, with no option or obligation to buy at the end of the season. Souza, who joined from Santos in January, is close to completing a temporary switch to Porto, with football.london reporting that terms have already been agreed for the 20-year-old. He has made only four appearances for Tottenham since arriving earlier this year.
