Club Brugge have been in touch with Rangers over the potential availability of Tuur Rommens, according to a report. The Belgian club see Rommens as a replacement for Joaquin Seys, who has been linked with a number of Europe's biggest clubs.
Rangers receive enquiry for Rommens
Rommens is the only senior left back in Derek McInnes' squad and has been ruled out for around six weeks with a groin injury. Teenage back up Ashton Scally is also injured, which has forced McInnes to try and act fast in the market.
Rangers are in the process of finalising a deal for former Hearts defender James Penrice, who is understood to have completed his medical before signing on loan from AEK Athens with an option to buy.
Club Brugge eye Seys replacement
Seys has been attracting interest from the likes of Manchester United, Arsenal and Newcastle this summer. A fee of up to £30million has been suggested for the 21-year-old, and Brugge are keen to get ahead of the game and identify his replacement before a deal is done.
Brugge are well aware of Rommens after three years in the Belgian Pro League with Westerlo before he made the move to Ibrox last January.
