The Premier League has confirmed that the fixtures for the 2026-27 season will be released on Friday, June 19, 2026, at 10am BST. The announcement covers all 380 matches for the upcoming campaign.
Season Start and Key Dates
The first match is scheduled for Saturday, August 22, 2026, a week later than usual due to the 2026 World Cup. However, a Friday night curtain-raiser on August 21 is also expected. Over Christmas, no club will play more than once within 60 hours, and there will be no Christmas Eve fixture. The final round of games is set for Sunday, May 30, 2027.
New Managers and Title Race
Arsenal ended their 22-year title drought last season, dethroning Liverpool. Manchester City, now without Pep Guardiola, have appointed Enzo Maresca. Liverpool hired Andoni Iraola from Bournemouth, while Chelsea brought in Xabi Alonso. Manchester United gave Michael Carrick the full-time job after a third-placed finish. Tottenham appointed Roberto De Zerbi, who avoided relegation on the final day and has added three new signings.
Promoted Teams
Ipswich, Hull, and Coventry have been promoted to the Premier League, with Coventry returning after 25 years.
Television Coverage
Sky Sports and TNT Sport will announce their first picks for televised matches shortly after the fixture release.
