Manchester United's summer transfer window closes at 11pm tonight, and supporters are being asked to name the player the Reds need to sign most before the deadline.
Midfield Reinforcements Completed
United's business this summer has centred on one main priority: midfield. After Casemiro left at the end of last season, the club moved to strengthen the centre of the park.
Andrey Santos and Youri Tielemans both arrived in the same week from Chelsea and Aston Villa respectively. Last week, United added a third midfielder in Carlos Baleba, who received a warm reception when he was introduced to fans on Sunday.
Limited Signings Elsewhere
Beyond midfield, signings have been limited. Karl Darlow has arrived to bolster the goalkeeping department after Andre Onana, Altay Bayindir and Radek Vitek all left. United have also signed winger Tynan Thompson from Tottenham.
United's priority between now and 11pm tonight will be to sign a left-back, but they could also look to strengthen their attack. Joshua Zirkzee has been linked with a host of Italian clubs this summer and was an unused substitute against Ipswich Town.
Attack Plans May Change
United looked set to try and sign a left-sided winger earlier this summer. However, that looks less likely with Marcus Rashford seemingly destined to stay, and his start against Ipswich suggests his future is at Old Trafford.
United could still capitalise on a late opportunity in the transfer market to strengthen their squad. Fans are being asked to vote in a poll on who the Reds need to sign most on deadline day.
