Newcastle United have just hours remaining to complete their summer transfer business, with the club expecting a busy final two days of the window before Tuesday night's 11pm deadline.
The Magpies have brought in seven new players over the past few months but have also seen some big names leave St James' Park. More deals are in the pipeline, with negotiations underway to bring another forward to the club and further exits possible.
Woltemade linked with Juventus move
Juventus are in talks with Newcastle over a deal to take Nick Woltemade to Serie A. The Italian giants are reportedly interested in a loan move, with Jonathan David set to leave Turin for Atletico Madrid. Manchester United's Joshua Zirkzee is also on their wishlist, with Newcastle open to a loan exit.
Woltemade came off the bench against Spurs to set up Yoane Wissa's goal in the 2-0 win on Saturday night.
Jaissle on transfer plans
Matthias Jaissle has spoken about his ambitions to strengthen the squad further before the window closes. On potential incoming deals, he said: "We know our needs. Ross (Wilson) is doing an amazing job. We have a couple of days left and will not panic and do something crazy without everyone believing it's the right decision. That's the most important thing, on a management and leadership level that we're all aligned."
Nick Pope has also been linked with a move away from Tyneside, as United look to offload players who do not fit into Jaissle's plans.
