Mora appears to confirm Liverpool transfer in fan video

Mexican wonderkid Gilberto Mora has appeared to give a move to Liverpool the seal of approval in a recent video shared on social media. The Reds have been linked with a transfer swoop for the 18-year-old attacking midfielder who has caught the eye in South America.

Rising Star Linked with European Move

The youngster, who plays for Liga MX club Tijuana, has already made 62 first-team appearances and scored 15 goals, despite his tender age. He's been linked with some of European football's biggest clubs and was given an opportunity to impress for his country at the recent World Cup.

Mora has already made 13 appearances for the international side, and it seems a case of when, not if he makes a move to European football.

Fan Interaction Fuels Speculation

The midfielder celebrated his 18th birthday earlier this month, now making him eligible to move to a foreign club as a result of FIFA regulations.

Liverpool are reportedly among the frontrunners to sign the youngster, who has an asking price in the region of £30m. Now, in a video doing the rounds on social media, Mora has appeared to confirm a move to Anfield in an interaction with fans.

Tunnel Footage and Tuchel Praise

Supporters on the video could be seen holding up a Liverpool shirt, chanting the player's name, followed by asking "Liverpool?"

The young star waved at the fans when he heard them chanting his name, before realising what they were asking him. Mora then smiled and gave the fans a thumbs up before heading down the tunnel with his teammates.

The youngster played against England at the World Cup earlier this summer and Three Lions manager Thomas Tuchel made it clear he was a fan of the attacking midfielder.

"We are not surprised, we have seen his quality," Tuchel said when asked about Mora in particular. "It's very impressive, he's a very young and talented player. He doesn't get nervous on the biggest stage. He's a top player."
