Manchester City have contacted Cody Gakpo's camp and are now in talks with the Netherlands international's representatives, according to multiple reports.

Tottenham Hotspur and now Manchester City are credited with an interest in signing Gakpo from Liverpool before the deadline for this summer transfer window.
Gakpo scored Liverpool's first goal of the new Premier League season against Newcastle United.
