Liverpool have finally agreed a £120m transfer for Paris Saint-Germain forward Bradley Barcola, ending a summer-long pursuit. The Reds have been searching for a replacement for Mohamed Salah, with the Frenchman set to take the Egyptian's squad number at Anfield.
Lengthy negotiations conclude
PSG had initially demanded a fee north of £130m for Barcola, who is said to have told the club he wants a new challenge. Liverpool's transfer chiefs have been chipping away at that valuation and are now believed to be on the brink of sealing the deal.
No 11 shirt available
Should the move go through as expected, Barcola will be met with the perfect welcome present at Anfield. The number 11 shirt he has worn at PSG and for the French under-21 side is available following Salah's departure.
