The Ospreys are closing in on the signing of former Wallabies wing Marika Koroibete, with a one-year contract worth just over £100,000 expected to be completed this week.
WalesOnline exclusively revealed on Sunday that Koroibete had agreed terms with the Welsh region. Now, Nine.com.au reports the 34-year-old will sign after turning down a contract offer from the Queensland Reds, while also holding talks with the Fijian Drua.

Koroibete may be approaching the end of his career, but the powerful wing is still capable of making a significant impact in the United Rugby Championship.
The Fijian-born wing began his career in the NRL with the Wests Tigers and Melbourne Storm before switching to rugby union. He has represented the Melbourne Rebels and most recently played for Japan's Panasonic Wild Knights, with a stint in sevens for Chennai Bulls.
Koroibete was a Wallabies regular for many years, scoring 20 tries in 63 international caps.
Ospreys' Australian contingent
The Ospreys now boast five Australians, including former Wallabies captain Liam Wright, Chiefs centre Lalakai Foketi, and utility-back Lawson Creighton from the Waratahs. Lock Ryan Smith, who made a big impact last season, is also at the club.
The signing of Koroibete marks a significant statement of intent for the Ospreys, reminiscent of their 'Galacticos' era when they signed the likes of Jerry Collins, Marty Holah, and Filo Tiatia.
Alongside the Australians, the Ospreys have also signed Wales wing Tom Rogers from the Scarlets and utility-back Dan John from Exeter Chiefs, while outside-half Harri Wilde has joined on loan from Cardiff.
