Jadon Sancho has been offered a contract by Qatari club Al-Rayyan, months after leaving Manchester United on a free transfer. The 26-year-old winger has been without a club since his Old Trafford deal expired.

According to French outlet Foot Mercato, Al-Rayyan have proposed a deal to sign Sancho as a free agent. The Qatari side want the Englishman to become the leading figure in their project to dominate domestic football.
Interest from Elsewhere
Sancho has also been linked with a return to Borussia Dortmund, where he previously impressed before his £85m move to United. Dortmund managing director Lars Ricken said: "We are currently looking at a lot of players and analysing them. We are assessing whether they can improve our team. We are doing the same with Jadon. Of course, we are looking for an offensive player who brings quality, can help us immediately, and doesn't require an unrealistic transfer fee."
Recent Career
Since leaving Manchester United, Sancho had loan spells at Chelsea and Aston Villa. He scored five goals for Chelsea, who chose not to sign him permanently despite an obligation to buy clause. At Villa, he scored once and won the Europa League.
Pardew's Assessment
Former Premier League manager Alan Pardew commented on talkSPORT: "He hasn't really done enough to warrant a massive, massive contract like he was on at Man United, but he'll get a good move." Pardew added that clubs face tough decisions at the end of the season regarding player values.
