Iraola hints at multiple Liverpool signings before deadline

Liverpool head coach Andoni Iraola has hinted at multiple new signings before the transfer deadline, while refusing to discuss specific targets. The Reds have seen a number of experienced players leave this summer, including Mohamed Salah, Andy Robertson and Ibrahima Konate.

Curtis Jones is set to leave his boyhood club, formalising a permanent move to Inter Milan and ending a 20-year association with Liverpool. The club are interested in Paris Saint-Germain star Bradley Barcola, have seen a bid for Yankuba Minteh, and have been linked with PSG's Ibrahim Mbaye.

Iraola's transfer stance

Iraola has been steadfast in his pursuit of reinforcements and hinted at potential additions. "As a manager, this is an easy one for me. I wanted the players for the first day, July 13, everyone here all the positions covered, top level players," he said.

Curtis Jones situation

"We cannot speak about players that are not ours. I understand the questions. With Curtis, I think it is not still official but there is an ongoing situation. I spoke to him in the first or second training session, I value him a lot as a player and he loves this club. I understood the outcome was going to be what it has been at the end," Iraola added.
