Harry Kane's representatives have held talks with Saudi Pro League club Al Hilal over a possible future transfer, according to TalkSPORT. The England captain, who is entering the final 12 months of his contract with Bayern Munich, has been linked with a move away from the Bundesliga champions.
Kane's stance on Saudi move
The report claims that Al Hilal have placed Kane at the top of their shortlist of targets to strengthen the centre-forward position. The list is also said to include Galatasaray star Victor Osimhen and Aston Villa striker Ollie Watkins, who is Kane's teammate in the England squad.
Kane's stance has also been mentioned in the report, with the former Tottenham Hotspur striker said to be open to the possibility of moving to Saudi Arabia before calling time on his playing career. It is not clear if a transfer would happen this summer or in 12 months' time when his current deal ends.
Contract talks with Bayern
Kane has returned to Bayern after being granted an extended summer break following his involvement with the England squad at the World Cup. He has now entered the final 12 months of his contract with the Bundesliga champions, leading to speculation about whether he will sign an extension or leave the Allianz Arena.
With rumours around his future continuing, Kane recently addressed his contract situation at Bayern, where he admitted that he is "relaxed" about his future. Speaking last month, via Kicker, he said: "We obviously said we wanted to talk after the World Cup and after my holiday. So I'm not sure exactly when, but they'll start this week, next week… we'll start those talks.
"Like I've said before, we're calm, I think they're calm with the situation. Obviously now is the time to start talking, because there's only a year left. That's important. But both sides are relaxed, and I'm pretty sure there'll be some talks this week or next week."
