Manchester City could face a mass exodus if they are booted out of the Premier League after breaking financial rules. They have been deemed guilty of 114 of the 115 charges levelled against them, plunging the club into significant uncertainty.
If the verdict is not overturned on appeal, there is a chance that City could be expelled from England's top flight, either directly or via a massive points deduction.
Star players likely to leave
There is almost no chance that players like Erling Haaland, Gianluigi Donnarumma and Enzo Fernandez will be prepared to slog it out in the Championship, or even League One or League Two, next season. If they demand to leave, there will be no shortage of clubs queuing up for their signatures, which could open up some very interesting possibilities.

Dream transfers if City are relegated
Erling Haaland to Leeds United - Wouldn't it be nice to see arguably the best striker in world football sign for his hometown club? Haaland was born in Leeds and would automatically become a legend at Elland Road by moving there. Unlikely, of course, but it would be a sight to behold.
Antoine Semenyo to Liverpool - Just imagine a front three of Antoine Semenyo, Bradley Barcola and Alexander Isak... the stuff of nightmares for every Premier League defender. Cody Gakpo has been great so far this season but he wouldn't stand much chance of getting into this team.
Gianluigi Donnarumma to Chelsea - Even though Chelsea just signed Emiliano Martinez, they'd surely jump at the chance to land Donnarumma between the sticks. He's better than Martinez these days and much younger, too, making it a no-brainer for the west Londoners. Plus, the Italian wouldn't have to wear such a horrible goalkeeper kit!
Rayan Ait-Nouri to Manchester United - Could the Algerian defender become the first player to move directly between the Manchester heavyweights since Carlos Tevez in 2009? United tried to make it happen in the summer and were told to get lost, but things would be very different if City are relegated.
Jack Grealish to Everton - A deal that would make sense for everybody involved, even if City are spared relegation. He's clearly found a home at the Hill Dickinson Stadium and there's little doubt that Everton would love to sign him on a permanent contract. Make it happen, lads!
