Celtic will have to beat off interest from Malaga and Burnley if they want to bring Greg Taylor back to Parkhead.
The Hoops are weighing up several options in their search for a left-back - and their former title-winner is one of them.
Taylor looks set to leave Greek side PAOK this summer and is open to rejoining the Scottish Premiership champions.
Competition for Taylor's signature
But Record Sport understands that La Liga outfit Malaga, as well as English Championship side Burnley are now also keen on the 28-year-old.
Celtic are looking for cover in that position for Kieran Tierney after failing to sign Uruguayan Marcelo Saracchi, who was on loan at Parkhead last season.
Taylor is still on their radar but they face stiff competition for his signature.
Taylor's Celtic pedigree
The defender spent six years at Celtic before joining PAOK 12 months ago.
He played 15 times for the Greeks last term and on Thursday night came off the bench in their Europa League qualifier against Anderlecht.
But Taylor, who has 14 caps for Scotland, now looks likely to move on again this summer and a return to Glasgow remains a possibility.
He amassed 11 major trophies during his first spell at Parkhead, including five league titles.
