Four transfers Liverpool can complete this week - Barcola solution

Liverpool could add Paris Saint-Germain forward Bradley Barcola to their squad this week, with manager Andoni Iraola planning further additions. The Reds have already made two permanent signings and a loan move, and now look set to accelerate their transfer business before the Premier League season begins.

Barcola deal close after PSG signing

Liverpool have received a boost in their pursuit of Barcola, who is valued at around £145m. PSG have signed Mika Godts from Ajax for approximately £47m (€55m), a player who operates in the same position, giving Iraola hope that the French club may now sanction Barcola's departure.

The 23-year-old forward is keen to leave PSG in search of more first-team minutes. Liverpool are expected to lodge a new bid this week and could complete the transfer.

Gakpo and Elliott heading for exits

Cody Gakpo is increasingly likely to join Tottenham, with reports from the Netherlands claiming the 27-year-old has agreed a deal in principle. The BBC reports that Liverpool are demanding over £60m for the forward and will not agree to a sale until a replacement arrives.

Harvey Elliott has been linked with Sunderland and Leeds after a failed loan at Aston Villa last season. Former Everton CEO Keith Wyness told the Inside Track podcast: "Yeah, I think the bad blood is certainly enough to get him away from Liverpool. There's a possibility he'll go to Leeds, but Leipzig are still the favourites, and I think if they can come to personal terms, that's what would make it happen. Leeds is going to become an attractive option for a player like Harvey."

Jones available for reduced fee

Curtis Jones is also tipped to leave Anfield, with Liverpool lowering his valuation to £30m. The midfielder has fallen out of favour under Iraola and has been linked with Inter Milan throughout the window. His contract expires next summer, and the Reds are keen to avoid losing him on a free transfer.

Inter were interested, but reports in Italy suggested the asking price was a sticking point. Liverpool have now reduced it from £34m to £30m, potentially tempting the Serie A side. The club have made just two permanent signings so far, acquiring Victor Munoz for £34.5m and £60m-rated Jeremy Jacquet, with Ronald Araujo joining on loan from Barcelona following an injury to Joe Gomez.
