Chelsea could be in for a busy end to the summer transfer window as the Blues look to finalise their squad for the 2026/27 season, with up to five deals potentially confirmed before the deadline.
It has been a summer of change already, with Xabi Alonso arriving at the club and several high-profile moves having taken place. Marc Cucurella leaving and Morgan Rogers coming in are the two headline transfers so far, but with Enzo Fernandez's future still up in the air, there may still be some more big-money moves to come.
Enzo Fernandez's Potential Exit to Man City
The obvious one is the loss of captain Fernandez, who has been linked with a move to Manchester City for most of the season. The Argentine wasn't involved in either of Chelsea's previous two fixtures, but reports suggest a bid for Fernandez hasn't been submitted just yet. Time is running out though, with Chelsea believed to be demanding over £120million for his signature.
Midfield Reinforcements on the Radar
It's suggested that Chelsea are closing in on a deal for Lamine Camara from Monaco, with an agreement said to have been reached. Camara has been touted as one of the best midfield talents, with a fee rumoured to be around £40m. Reports differ on whether Camara would be a direct replacement for Fernandez, with suggestions that Chelsea could be looking at another midfield addition.
And the other name on Chelsea's radar is believed to be Manu Kone from Roma, who have been linked with several clubs in the Premier League, including Manchester United and Liverpool. Chelsea are said to have made contact with the midfielder's agents, but nothing has advanced beyond that just yet.
Outgoing Deals Before the Deadline
Tosin Adarabioyo has been offered to Manchester United, according to talkSPORT, as a potential signing before deadline day. The defender is low down the pecking order and isn't expected to play much this season, meaning he's being offered to new clubs.
And finally, the last task will be to sort out the remaining unwanted players in the so-called bomb squad. Marc Guiu is among those expected to leave before the window slams shut, with RB Leipzig emerging as a serious candidate in the last week or so.
