Bradley Barcola would be open to joining Liverpool this summer in a British record transfer, according to reports. The winger has been linked with a potential move to Anfield to replace Mohamed Salah, who left the Reds at the end of last season.
Barcola stalls on PSG contract
Barcola, widely considered one of the world's best forwards, is said to feature prominently on Liverpool's shortlist. He remains tied down to Paris Saint-Germain until the summer of 2028 but is reportedly stalling over a new contract. According to Fabrizio Romano, the 23-year-old has decided that he doesn't want to agree fresh terms and could look to leave the French capital this summer.
Preferred destination and fee
Now, it's been reported that Liverpool would be his preferred destination. Barcola is open to joining the Anfield giants, according to talkSPORT, but it's claimed that PSG would demand a transfer fee in the region of £145 million. This would set a new British transfer record, surpassing the £125 million paid by Liverpool to sign Alexander Isak from Newcastle last summer.
