The Wimbledon quarter-finals continue on Wednesday, with British wildcard Arthur Fery returning to Centre Court to face ninth seed Flavio Cobolli. Fery, the only home hope left in either singles draw, stunned Grigor Dimitrov in the fourth round on Monday and aims to reach the semi-finals.
Arthur Fery's Magical Run
The 23-year-old has captivated the tennis world with his run to the last eight at the All England Club. After defeating Dimitrov on his main-stage debut, Fery now faces Cobolli, who upset fifth seed Alex de Minaur in a three-set victory. The winner will meet either Taylor Fritz or Alexander Zverev in the semi-finals.
Zverev vs Fritz
Second seed Alexander Zverev takes on Taylor Fritz in the other men's quarter-final. Fritz was originally slated to face Jack Draper in the first round before Draper's withdrawal. The winner of this match will face the victor of Fery vs Cobolli.
Women's Quarter-Finals
On the women's side, 13th seed Jasmine Paolini, a finalist in 2024, faces 12th seed Marta Kostyuk. Linda Noskova and Elise Mertens clash first on Court No. 1. The winners will join Karolina Muchova and Coco Gauff in the semi-finals, after Muchova and Gauff defeated Naomi Osaka and Jessica Pegula respectively on Tuesday.
