Tommy Fury has confirmed he will unveil the name of his baby boy when he steps back into the ring this weekend. Fury and fiancée Molly-Mae Hague welcomed their second child earlier this week, mere days before Fury faces former World's Strongest Man Eddie Hall in an unusual crossover boxing match.
Clue from Molly-Mae
Molly-Mae has also hinted that her partner will use the bout, which takes place on Saturday, June 13, to reveal their son's name by having it embroidered onto his shorts.
Speaking to Mirror Fighting, Fury said: "All will be revealed on Saturday night. I'm looking forward to it. I think I've been asked more about the name than the actual fight. It's going to be an entertaining night on Saturday and all will be revealed. It's been a huge week for me and it can't be described as anything other than a huge blessing."
A Blessed Week
Fury added: "I've had a smile on my face all week. Everything's gone smoothly. Molly's happy, everyone's happy. So it's just about getting to fight night, getting that done, and enjoying the summer with the family. That's what's on my calendar for the foreseeable. It's been the best week that you could ever ask for. A beautiful baby boy, and a main event on Saturday night in my hometown. It's full steam ahead now."
Fury, who also shares daughter Bambi with Molly-Mae, isolated himself from his family for 10 weeks to train for the challenge posed by 30-stone Hall. However, he maintains he's eager to dispatch his giant opponent before turning his focus to nappy duties.
"I've been there but at the end of the day, my duties properly start after the fight," he added. "All the late-night stuff will come after the fight. I've got an amazing partner back home and she understands the job ahead and I'm focused on that job. I'll get the job done on Saturday and return home to change some s***y nappies."
Family Legacy
Fury's son will carry on the family name, with Tommy's father John set to be in his corner on Saturday night. The former Love Island star continued: "I've got a boy and a girl now and it's just unbelievable. I'll teach them to grow up with manners just like I was taught to grow up with, and to mind your P's and Q's. I don't really care what they do for a living, they can do whatever they want. I won't push them into anything. I'll be very supportive of what they want to do, and as long as they're respectful kids, that's all a parent can really ask for."
