Jack Grealish is intensifying his pre-season preparations, sharing footage of himself working out on an exercise bike alongside Manchester City teammate Kalvin Phillips. Both players are expected to be peripheral under new manager Enzo Maresca and thus potentially available for transfer.
Everton Reunion on the Cards
Grealish spent last season on loan at Everton, where he made a significant impact before a stress fracture in January cut his campaign short. The 30-year-old provided two assists in the opening-day win over Brighton and Hove Albion at Hill Dickinson Stadium, quickly becoming a fan favourite. Senior figures at Everton are reportedly open to his return, and supporters are eager for a reunion.
Grealish spoke openly about the relationship he formed with manager David Moyes and the Everton faithful, crediting them with rekindling his love for football. He completed much of his recovery at Finch Farm, Everton's training ground, rather than returning to Manchester City.
Recovery Progress
In June, Grealish posted an image of himself back on the Everton training pitches with the caption: "Ahhh man can’t even explain how good this felt! 5 months ago since I last put my boots on. Back on the grass today! Best feeling ever man. Time to get ready."
Manchester City, who signed Grealish for £100 million, are keen to sell him this summer. Everton are expected to explore a loan move, though any deal will depend on the strength of his recovery from the stress fracture.
