Emma Raducanu's runner-up finish at the HSBC Championships women's final at Queen's Club on Sunday has once again turned the spotlight on her private life. The British No. 1, who won the US Open in 2021, was defeated by Donna Vekic 6-0, 7-6 (8-6) but will enter Wimbledon with strong form, having also reached the Transylvania Open final in February.
Raducanu's romantic relationships have been a topic of intense speculation. In 2023, she was linked to Carlo Agostinelli, son of billionaire Robert Agostinelli, after they were photographed together at Paris Fashion Week. However, the relationship reportedly ended, with Raducanu allegedly blocking him on social media.
Rumours have also persisted about a romance with Spanish tennis star Carlos Alcaraz, following their mixed doubles appearance at the 2025 US Open. Raducanu has dismissed these rumours, describing Alcaraz as a close friend. 'We have a good relationship still,' she said. 'He's obviously overtaken me a lot, but it's nice we have that from a while ago.'
Fellow Brit Cameron Norrie was once asked directly if he was dating Raducanu during a Wimbledon press conference. A baffled Norrie, who has a long-term girlfriend, replied: 'I'm not, no.' Raducanu later laughed off the incident, calling it 'terrible'. She added: 'I think they're more curious about this news than any tennis results. I just keep myself to myself.'
