Arthur Fery vs Dimitrov: Wimbledon 2025 Fourth Round

British wildcard Arthur Fery takes on fellow wildcard Grigor Dimitrov on Centre Court this afternoon in the Wimbledon fourth round, with the 23-year-old aiming to become the last home hope standing at this year's Championships.

Fery, the only remaining British player in either the men's or women's singles draws, earned his place in the last 16 with a marathon five-set victory over Belgian Zizou Bergs, the recently-crowned Eastbourne Open champion, on Saturday. He came back from two sets to one down to win a topsy-turvy final championship tiebreak on Court No18.

Fery's Road to the Fourth Round

Earlier in the tournament, Fery dropped one set apiece in his first two rounds. He defeated Bosnia's Damir Dzumhur 3-6 6-2 6-2 6-1 on Court No16, then ousted Otto Virtanen, who had beaten fourth seed Ben Shelton, 5-7 7-6(3) 6-3 6-3 on Court No18.

Now Fery faces his toughest test yet in Dimitrov, who was forced to withdraw from Wimbledon last year with a pectoral injury while leading world No1 Jannik Sinner at the time. Sinner went on to win the tournament, defeating Carlos Alcaraz in the final.

Centre Court Debut for Fery

This will be Fery's first time playing on Centre Court, having previously joked that he did not want to play on any of the All England Club's show courts. However, he will now have a capacity crowd behind him as he takes on the much-loved Dimitrov, who will have to embody the pantomime villain in Fery's fairytale run.

Start Time and Order of Play

Fery and Dimitrov are second up on Centre Court, following the match between Jasmine Paolini and Alexandra Eala, which opens play at 1.30pm BST. Jiri Lehecka and Alexander Zverev will wrap up the day on the main stage after the conclusion of Fery and Dimitrov's encounter.
