The US Open mixed doubles event returns for 2026 with a star-studded lineup, headlined by Novak Djokovic partnering world No.1 Aryna Sabalenka. The draw was confirmed after last year's successful format, which saw Arthur Ashe Stadium sold out during Fan Week.

In 2025, the event featured high-profile pairings including Carlos Alcaraz and Britain's Emma Raducanu, Jack Draper and Jessica Pegula, and Novak Djokovic with Olga Danilovic. World No.1 Jannik Sinner was set to play with Katerina Siniakova but withdrew due to illness after retiring from the Cincinnati final.

Alcaraz and Sinner Absent
Carlos Alcaraz has not played on the men's tour since April due to a wrist injury, forcing him to withdraw from his French Open title defence and Wimbledon. Jannik Sinner, who retained his Wimbledon crown, pulled out of the Montreal Masters to prioritise his health. Both are entered into the Cincinnati Open to prove fitness ahead of the US Open. Djokovic also withdrew from Montreal. Alcaraz previously remarked in 2024 that too many tournaments would eventually "kill us in some way."
Raducanu and Fery Not Playing
Emma Raducanu has been sidelined since withdrawing from Wimbledon with a stress fracture in her right leg. Her return date is unconfirmed. Arthur Fery, who reached the Wimbledon semi-finals as a qualifier, was not included in the draw despite his rise to world No.36 and British No.1 status.

The mixed doubles event takes place on Tuesday, August 25, and Wednesday, August 26. The first and second rounds are on the first day, with the semi-finals and finals on Arthur Ashe Stadium the next day.
