Hull KR enter the 2026 Super League season as the team to beat after completing an historic treble in 2025. The Robins, who won the Grand Final, League Leaders' Shield and Challenge Cup, will face Brisbane Broncos in the World Club Challenge this month. Coach Willie Peters has retained a strong squad, with Mikey Lewis expected to be a key player once again.
Leeds Rhinos look poised to challenge for the title after reaching the semi-finals last year. Under coach Brad Arthur, the Rhinos have added Jake Connor to their ranks and are predicted to finish second, potentially winning the Grand Final. Wigan Warriors are also expected to be among the top contenders.
Promoted trio Bradford Bulls, Oldham and Toulouse Olympique face tough seasons ahead. Bradford, returning to Super League after 12 years, have had to rebuild their squad late due to promotion only being confirmed in October. They are predicted to finish 14th. Oldham and Toulouse are also expected to struggle, with Oldham tipped for 13th and Toulouse for 12th.
Castleford Tigers have undergone a major overhaul with 14 new signings, including NRL recruits Semi Valemei, Mikaele Ravalawa and Blake Taaffe. New coach Ryan Carr is highly regarded, but the Tigers are predicted to finish ninth, just outside the playoffs. St Helens, under new coach Paul Rowley, are aiming to end a two-year trophy drought and are predicted fourth.
Hull FC have strengthened with experienced recruits and are expected to challenge for a playoff spot, predicted seventh. Leigh Leopards, who finished third last season, are tipped for sixth but may struggle with squad depth. Huddersfield Giants, plagued by injuries, are predicted 11th, while Catalans Dragons are expected to miss the top six despite Toby Sexton's arrival.
