South Africa have made one change to their starting XV for their final Rugby Championship Test against Argentina at Twickenham, with prop Ox Nche returning to the front row. Nche missed last weekend's 67-30 victory over Argentina in Durban but is now fit to replace Boan Venter, bolstering the Springboks' scrum as they seek to retain the title.
The Springboks will secure the championship with a bonus-point win over Argentina, regardless of the result in the other match between Australia and New Zealand in Perth. If New Zealand earn a bonus-point victory and South Africa collect four points, the title will be decided on points difference, with the Springboks currently at +55 and the All Blacks at -6.
Coach Rassie Erasmus has opted for a strong lineup, mindful of the fiery nature of the contest after tempers flared in Durban. Sacha Feinberg-Mngomezulu retains his place at fly-half after scoring a Springboks record 37 points last weekend, including a hat-trick of tries. Cobus Reinach starts at scrum-half, with Damian de Allende and Canan Moodie in the centres.
Nche packs down in the front row alongside Thomas du Toit and hooker Malcolm Marx, while Eben Etzebeth and Ruan Nortje form the second row. Captain Siya Kolisi leads a loose trio that includes Pieter-Steph du Toit and No 8 Jasper Wiese. Erasmus has selected a 5-3 split on the bench, with hooker Bongi Mbonambi, scrum-half Grant Williams, and centre Jesse Kriel among the replacements.
"Ox and Grant could have played last week if we really needed them, but Boan and Morne did really well, while Jesse was rotated in the last two matches and is raring to go," Erasmus said. The match kicks off at 2pm BST on Saturday, 4 October.
