WNBA Star Cameron Brink Considers Playboy Shoot with Fiancé's Approval
Cameron Brink on Playboy Shoot: Needs Fiancé's Approval

WNBA superstar Cameron Brink has intriguingly hinted at the possibility of participating in a provocative Playboy photoshoot, though she has made it clear that one significant personal hurdle would need to be overcome first. The talented basketball player has recently garnered considerable attention for her striking appearances in various high-profile fashion publications, including Players magazine, Sports Illustrated Swimsuit, and SKIMS campaigns. This has naturally led to speculation about whether she would be willing to take her modelling career to a more daring level.

A Playboy Possibility with a Personal Condition

Following fellow basketball athlete Kysre Gondrezick's decision to pose nude for Playboy, Brink was directly questioned by TMZ this week about whether she would entertain a similar opportunity. With a characteristically warm smile, the athlete responded, "We'll see. Maybe... if my fiancé approves!" This candid remark underscores the importance of her personal relationship in such professional decisions. Brink became engaged to her long-term partner, Ben Felter, during the autumn of 2024 after a romantic proposal on the rooftop terrace of the prestigious Shangri-La hotel in Paris, France. Reports suggest the couple are planning a wedding for later this year, although specific details regarding the date and venue remain private for now.

Brink's History with Fashion and Body Confidence

Cameron Brink is certainly no stranger to the world of fashion photography, often showcasing her style away from the basketball court. While she has never posed completely nude for a professional shoot, she has previously revealed a great deal of skin in her modelling work. Notably, during a cover shoot for Players magazine last year, she went braless and later admitted on her Straight 2 Cam podcast that she was "fully naked" while preparing for certain shots.

"I'm usually pretty open, I feel like I trust the creatives in the room," Brink explained during the podcast episode. "I was fully naked for that [Players] shoot. Yeah, I was walking around naked. There was only gays and girls in the room, I think. So, it wasn’t an issue. But, yeah, I feel like when they have a vision, I like the artistry of it all. I like shooting stuff like that. I think it’s fun." Her mother, Michelle Brink—a former basketball player for Virginia Tech who was also present on the podcast—expressed surprise at this admission but affirmed her admiration for her daughter's body confidence, noting she herself would not have done such a thing during her own playing career.

Navigating Criticism and Focusing on Basketball

In the past, Brink has faced some criticism from a small segment of fans who accused her of prioritising red carpet appearances and fashion events over her recovery from a serious ACL injury. One particularly pointed comment suggested that "if she put as much work into rehab as she puts into walking down red carpets and schmoozing, she'd be back by now." Brink responded firmly to this, stating, "I'm working INCREDIBLY hard every day. I would give anything to be out on the court right now. Basketball is my passion and everything to me… to say this you aren't a real fan." She also expressed gratitude to supporters who understood the lengthy recovery process for ACL injuries, emphasising her eagerness to return to play.

Brink is now actively back on the basketball court, currently competing for the Breeze in the Unrivaled 2026 league. Her journey continues to balance a profound dedication to her sport with a growing and confident presence in the fashion world, all while navigating the expectations and opinions that come with her public profile.
