Australia need just 86 runs to win the first Test against Bangladesh after bowling the hosts out for 157 on day three in Dhaka. The tourists were 45 for 1 at stumps, with Usman Khawaja not out on 20 and Marnus Labuschagne on 12.

Bangladesh resumed on 76 for 2 and were soon in trouble as Pat Cummins struck early, removing Mominul Haque for 28. The hosts then lost regular wickets, with Nathan Lyon claiming 4 for 50 and Mitchell Starc taking 3 for 41.
Litton Das top-scored with 42, but the rest of the batting order folded, and Bangladesh were all out for 157 in their second innings. Australia were set a target of 231, and they made a solid start before Steve Smith was dismissed for 15.
