Lando Norris Confirms Split from Model Girlfriend Magui Corceiro

It has been just under three months since an emotional Lando Norris was crowned Formula One world champion. The 26-year-old British driver secured his first drivers' title with a top-three finish in Abu Dhabi, leading to tearful celebrations with his family and then-girlfriend, model Magui Corceiro. At the time, their relationship appeared stronger than ever, following months of an on-off dynamic that had recently gone very public.

Winter Break Brings Relationship Changes

However, the winter break has seen a significant shift. Norris is now single, having split from Corceiro during the off-season. Instead of romantic getaways, he has been jetting around the world, sharing glimpses of his adventures with his 11.6 million Instagram followers. One recent post, captioned "Left this draft in the freezer," featured Norris wrapped in red tartan pyjamas in snowy settings, with Corceiro commenting, "Nice pjs, u welcome," hinting at an amicable separation.

His Instagram account has served as a journal of his first winter as champion, with posts garnering nearly one million likes each. Highlights include a December 7 selfie in an orange "champion" hat, congratulated by celebrities like George Russell, Naomi Campbell, and Jack Grealish, followed by celebratory content from afterparties and trophy presentations.

Focus on Career and Personal Growth

Amid advertisement posts for brands like Ralph Lauren and TUMI, Norris showcased his off-season activities, which included a visit to his old school. He shared photos with students, where a child's project noted his interests in golf, photography, and his record as the youngest British F1 driver ever. February brought pre-season testing in Bahrain, with Norris warning fans to "wear ear protection" in a post featuring McLaren teammates and fireworks.

This week, he was in Sweden with Monster Energy, driving in the snow just days before the season opener in Australia. Norris enters the new season not as the favourite to retain his crown; that honour goes to fellow Brit George Russell, whom Norris described as "sneaky" but highly skilled in a recent interview with Daily Mail Sport.

Racing Ahead Without Corceiro's Support

In 2025, Corceiro was a regular in the paddock, cheering Norris to glory. This year, he will compete without her by his side. Indications of their split emerged last month when a TikTok clip from Bahrain testing seemed to capture Norris telling Carlos Sainz he is "a single man," though audio quality left some uncertainty.

Norris has spent his months off travelling and giving back, but now it's "go-time." With new regulations shaking up the field and Mercedes expected to lead the title race, followed by Ferrari and McLaren, Norris faces a tough challenge to become a two-time champion. Whether he will miss his ex-girlfriend's support on his quest for glory remains a conundrum only the track will answer.
